Culture and tradition are important values in different communities and regions of the world. How important they are for our new generation? Many of us grew up in changing societies: societies which have become more and more international. Many of us have lived in different parts of the world and we have our origins in very different communities.  What impact do culture and tradition have on our lives and careers? What impact do we have on culture and tradition?

I do not have the right answer, or the wrong one. However, as a Bolivian, where culture and tradition are fundamental, and raised in Europe, I can feel the difference between the two communities. I sincerely believe is an idea worth spreading: your cultures and traditions are intangible inheritances from your ancestors. You are then a vehicle of continuity for these cultures and traditions. You can keep them alive.

What is your favourite TED talk and why?
A speech by Chip Conley “Measuring what makes life worthwile”. Many companies and some people think that what really counts are tangible measures. However, as Albert Einstein said: “Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted”
